Two thoughts, and a prelude to a third

1) I am increasingly bothered by the way Turk's new facial hair makes him look strikingly like LeVar Burton as season five rolls merrily along.

2) The word 'cremains' is really, really funny. Both for the way someone just stuck the c from cremate onto remains to describe the product of the process, and for the way it reminds me of craisins. Don't mix them up though, one is a nasty snack.

pre-3) During this couch-ridden weekend of flu, fever, and snot, I've seen a bunch of movies, including Crash. More developed thoughts forthcoming, but my initial reaction is a big...meh. I get it, People Are Racist, but cheez. It was like I could feel Paul Haggis's heavy, heavy hand on my head the whole time, to the point that I was like, 'Christ dude, step off, I get it!'
